IAPMO R&T is North America’s premier plumbing and mechanical product certification agency adhering to established international codes and standards.
We are accredited by American National Standards Institute and Standards Council of Canada. Since 1936, IAPMO R&T has provided building departments a
listing of products that have earned the right to bear its marks of conformity.
IAPMO R&T has reduced completion time of product certification to fewer than three weeks and, in some cases, as quickly as 24 hours.
As the preferred listing agency of Manufacturers, Inspectors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction, the IAPMO R&T brand and its reputation for quality are unparalleled in the industry. Our Marks of Conformity are widely recognized and represent the highest degree of integrity in showing compliance with established codes and standards.
Recognizing the growing importance of water conservation, IAPMO R&T provides certification for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency WaterSense program. And in response to client demands, recently added two new services that include certification to other codes (e.g. International Plumbing Code) and the “two-in-one” certification for plastic pipes and fittings (NSF/ANSI 14 & equivalent ASTM standards).

IAPMO R&T Oceana is based in Melbourne Australia and is accredited by the Joint Accredited System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) to grant GasMark™,
OceanaMark™ certificates and WaterMark™ licences.
As a JAS-ANZ accredited product certification body, our certification schemes offer the following attributes.
GasMark Certification of gas appliances and components in accordance with specifically recognised Standards. Refer to GasMark page "GMK Standards List"
for more information. The GasMark scheme is overseen by Australian and New Zealand gas regulators.
OceanaMark Certification of specific product, generally water related. The products covered under the OceanaMark scheme are not necessarily subject to specific
requirements of a central body. The Standards are selected by IAPMO R&T Oceana following a formal review.
WaterMark Certification of plumbing and drainage products in accordance with AS 5200.000 and the Standards therein referenced. The 'WaterMark' logo is owned
by 'Standards Australia' and the scheme is overseen by National plumbing authorities through the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA).
