the standards writing community, government agencies, and other entities on the proper use of industry products through the dissemination of standards
Scope of Standards Developing Activity
Cordage Institute has published 50+ standards on synthetic ropes. Standards cover common constructions, test methods for rope related properties, and general guidelines relevant to rope use, construction, and retirement. Work is ongoing to meet advancing industry requirements.
