Organizational Overview
SCTE develops standards for cable telecommunications systems. This includes cable, connectors, and active and passive network components; cable modems and the protocols they use; voice over internet and its protocols; standards for digital networks, including those referenced by the FCC for network operation; network monitoring standards for voice over internet, video quality, and general network management; architectures and protocols for advertising insertion, including advanced advertising functions such as targeted advertising.
