Workshop – Aerospace
February 18, 2010
India Habitat Centre, New Delhi
The aerospace industry is experiencing rapid growth in India, with increasing numbers of aircraft being built and assembled in India. Countless parts and components for these aircraft are manufactured in the U.S. in compliance with internationally accepted standards developed by organizations such as SAE International.
In order to create greater awareness of SAE standards and encourage Indian professionals to participate in standards development activities, an introductory workshop was held on February 18, 2010 at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
The workshop included an overview of SAE's aerospace standards activities, as well as perspectives from Indian industry on the current landscape in India.
