What is the China Roundtable?
The ANSI Manufacturer Member Roundtable in China provides a forum for ANSI full member manufacturing companies to discuss challenges and strategies, exchange information across industry sectors, and provide perspectives on issues that affect their ability to do business in China
Annual Appreciation Dinner
ANSI and the China Roundtable host an annual appreciation dinner for ANSI members and cooperative partners in China. The celebration provides important networking opportunities, allowing attendees to reinforce
relationships fostered through roundtable events and cementing links between ANSI, its members and constituents, and Chinese government and industry.
Roundtable Meetings on Policy and Business Issues
In addition to the Annual Appreciation Dinner, the Roundtable meets on an ad hoc basis to address priority policy and business issues. Meetings are conducted primarily in Mandarin Chinese and frequently feature briefings from PRC government officials and other top experts. Past discussion topics include:
- The draft revision of the PRC Standardization Law
- China Compulsory Certification (CCC) regulations
- Dealing with China's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
- And other priority issues for companies doing business in China
